He was predeceased by: his father James Guy Elliott; and his stepfather Shirley Echols. He is survived by: his wife Jeri G. Elliott; his mother Ruth Echols; his sons, Matthew Blankenship (Meredith) and Luke Elliott (Solei); his sisters, Kaye Endahl (John) and Rosanna Gearheart (Robert); his stepbrothers, Dale Echols (Teresa) and Dennis Echols (Patricia); his uncle Brownie; and his aunt Jeannie Miller. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
