It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Michael Smith of Blacksburg, Virginia, born in York, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 5, 2024, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Bruce and Geraldine Elizabeth Smith. He is survived by: his wife Linda Mae Smith; his daughter Jennifer; his son-in-law David Prevette of Blacksburg, Virginia.; his son Michael; his daughter-in-law Vanessa Smith of Winston Salem; his brothers, Tim (Robin Smith), Jack (Carol Smith) and Tom (Mylicah Smith); and his grandchildren, Isabella, Luke, Grant, Jack, Olivia and Levi.
