Hilda Hodge Helms Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 28, 2024, at the age of 94, Hilda Hodge Helms (Blacksburg, Virginia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Finch Hodge and Annie Hodge; her husband Rudy Helms; her daughter Teresa "Terry" Helms; her granddaughter Lacie Helms; and her brother Robert Hodge.
She is survived by: her children, Mark Helms (Kym) and Penny Helms White (Roger); her grandchildren, Jesse Helms (Danesha), Casey Helms, Kelsea Ditzhazy (Austen), Hunter Maddy and Parker White; her great grandchildren, Skyler Helms, Jackson Ditzhazy and River Ditzhazy; her sister-in-law Lelia Helms; her niece Karen Hodge; her friends, Susan Sowers and Linda White; and her caregivers, Bernadette McBride, Cheryl Matthews and Hilda. She is also survived by family members and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the McCoy Funeral Home (150 Country Club Dr SW, Blacksburg, VA 24060).
