Gerald Huml Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gerald Huml in Blacksburg, Virginia, who passed away on May 11, 2024 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Gerald is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Gerald's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Huml and Lillian Huml. He is survived by: his wife Ann; and his children, Dina Hyde (David), Carrie Woodring (Earl) and Jerry (Amy). He is also survived by his five grandchildren, and one great granddaughter.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Colonel Huml to the Carolina Museum of the Marine, the Al Gray Civic Institute, or the Alzheimer's Association.
