He was predeceased by: his parents, James Butler Sr. and Mariam Gustava Estes (Hoover); his son Jeffrey Scott Estes; his grandson Gregory Scott Estes; his great-nephew Dakotah Booth; and his brothers, Junior, Jim, Phillip, Don and Rodger Estes.
He is survived by: his sister Evelyn Harrison; his sister-in-law Mary Ann Estes; his son Gregory Estes (Corina); his grandchildren, Noah, Jeffrey Estes and Misty Estes; his great grandchildren, Kileigh and Logan; his nieces, Debbie Bishop (Benjy), Tammy Booth (David) and Jean Marshall (Clinton); his nephew Bryan Harrison (Brenda); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Desirae Booth, Jamie Jamison (Spencer), Kayli Harrison, Krystin Aronson (Ethan), Talon, Caiden Booth and Logan Bishop. He is also survived by four daughters along with numerous other family members.
