She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Smith and Pearl Smith; her husband Ronald Lee Simmons; her son William Ronald Simmons; and her grandson Nathan Aaron Carpenter.
She is survived by: her daughters, Ann Simmons (Russel Mulock) and Sharon Carpenter (Randy). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren.
She volunteered for the American Cancer Society, and the American Heart Association, and participated in the local Potpourri Club.
