She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert M. "Mac" McEver and Eleanor S. McEver; her brothers, Buddy and Bill McEver; and her former husband Thomas B. Hutcheson, Jr..

She is survived by: her husband George E. "Buddy" Russell; her sister-in-law Vicki McEver; her children, Elizabeth Domico, Tom Hutcheson (Beth), Joel Hutcheson (Kelly), Mike Russell (Chevella), Cindy Mason (Chip) and Jeff Russell; her grandchildren, Patrick Domico (Lucy), Adam Domico (Margot), Tommy Hutcheson (Paige), Henry Hutcheson, Mac Hutcheson, John Hutcheson, Eleanor Hutcheson, Thomas Hutcheson, Emma Van Stone, Allie Van Stone, Katie Russell, Holly Mason and Christopher Mason; and her nephew Mark McEver (Brenda).

“We were very blessed that GOD crossed our paths with Frances and Buddy and their family at the lake these last 7 years. Frances never knew a stranger. From the 1st time we met, she immediately welcomed us as family. They would have huge family gatherings and meals. She would just smile and say set a couple more plates at the table. What an absolute delight she was to talk with about the history of her family and life. She was so proud of everyone's accomplishments. We will miss her greatly.”
