He was predeceased by: his father Floyd Thomas Long, Sr.; his wife Phyllis Underwood Long; his sister Elaine Long Anderson; and his brother-in-law Robert Gordon Anderson (Steve Whitaker). He is survived by: his brother Gary Williams Long; his nephew Peter Thomas Anderson (Julie Anderson); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Ryan, Brooke and Grace Anderson; his sisters-in-law, Nedra Underwood and Helen Whitaker; his nephew Nathaniel Thomas Long; his niece Erin Kathleen Long; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Kai and Asher Long; and also Nyisa Long.
