She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert C. Heavener and Mary Edna Shelor Heavener; her siblings, Margaret Massie and Robert C. Heavener, Jr.; and her husband James J. Owen.
She is survived by: her children, Bob Owen, Ben Owen, Beth Noakes and Shelor Roberts. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
