It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elizabeth Atkinson Linkous (Blacksburg, Virginia), who passed away on June 18, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Helen Atkinson and Macil Atkinson; her husband Harold G. Linkous; her brother Lewis Atkinson (Ann); and her niece Gail Atkinson Palmarini.
She is survived by: her son David; her daughter-in-law Brenda Linkous; her granddaughter Elena Linkous of Christiansburg; her cousin Gerald Pendleton (England); her nieces and nephews, Linda Atkinson (Botetourt), Sara Boehme (California), Cyndi Graham (Blacksburg), Carol Mangold (Arizona), Mary Lou Merkt (South Carolina), Trever Nienke (Morgan), Taylor Nienke, Lucy Treado, Lucia Torres (Jushe) and Nina Palmarini; her close friend Wilma Snuffer of Christiansburg; and her pets, Saydi, Chance and Maverick.
