He is survived by: his close friend Sandra Reed of Blacksburg, VA; his daughter Elizabeth Krant (Bobby) of Hurt, Virginia; his brother-in-law French David Kanode; his nephew Rusty Lang; and his nieces, Nancy Lang and Mary Snider.
