She was predeceased by: her parents, Dorothy Arpert (Poole) and Eric Arpert; her husband Christen Skaar; her brother Eric Sheridan Arpert; her daughter-in-law Alice Roden Skaar; and her brother-in-law Dexter Davison.
She is survived by: her children, Eric Skaar, Steven Skaar (Emily), Dorothy Frith (Eric) and Janet Sember (Bob); her sister Janet Davison; and her grandchildren, Alice Dorothy Skaar, Christian Skaar, Timothy Skaar (Denell), Kristen Martin (Calvin), Stephanie Regrut (Jon), Alexandra Kreager, Benjamin Kreager, Christopher Frith, Jordan Frith and Tyler Frith. She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Blacksburg Christian Fellowship (2300 N Main St, Blacksburg, VA 24060).
