He was predeceased by: his father George E. Goodyear of Wilmington, DE.; and his wife Janice Claire Goodyear. He is survived by: his son Jon; his daughter-in-law Veronica Goodyear of Pembroke, VA; his daughter Megan Goodyear Blatz; his grandchildren, Jack Blatz of Laurel, DE and Sarah Shockley of Laurel, DE; and his son Eric Goodyear of Christiansburg, VA..
