He was predeceased by: his parents-in-law, John and Mildred Lavender; his brother-in-law J. Brice Lavender; and his aunts and uncles, Val, Pat, Bill and Jack Daniels.
He is survived by: his wife Patsy Lavender; his children, Erin of Brookings, SD and John (Diane) of Philadelphia, PA.; his brothers, Mike (Leslie) and Danny (Barbara); his aunt Eva Daniels; his nieces and nephews, Jeff, Chris, Kelly (Glenn) and Anna; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Jake (Michaela), Carmen, Hank, Cole, Molly and Scout.
