She is survived by: her daughter Robin; her son-in-law Dale Akers of Elliston; her sister Edith; her brother-in-law Ray Epperly of Christiansburg; her grandsons, Joshua Akers (Shelly), Caleb Akers (Miriam), Aaron Akers and Jonathan Akers; and her great grandchildren, Annabelle Akers, Gabriella Clausen and Jase Akers.
In lieu of flowers a memorial contribution may be made to the American Cancer Society.
