Betty Adamson Teske Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Adamson Teske of Blacksburg, Virginia, born in Lynchburg, Virginia, who passed away on March 1, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Dent and Evelyn Adamson (Thomasson); and her sister Jacquelin Adamson Wingard. She is survived by: her sons, Eric W. Teske of Blacksburg and Shawn M. (Kristin Teske); her grandchildren, Cara Carlson (Noah) of Sweetwater, TN, Kelli Teske of Atlanta and Jacob Teske of Blacksburg; her great grandchildren, Malachi, Ezra and Eliyanah Carlson; her sister Martha Webb of Rustburg; and her brother-in-law Richard M. Wingard, Sr. of McKinney, TX. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the McCoy Funeral Home (150 Country Club Dr SW, Blacksburg, VA 24060). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. Philip's Anglican Church (306 Progress St NE, Blacksburg, VA 24060).
