He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Laxton Eller Sr. and Evelyn Britton Eller. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn; his children, Amy Eller Saunders (Jim), Evelyn Eller Haycocks (Gavin), John Leonard Eller and Karen Eller Buddington (Rich); his grandchildren, James (Megan), Andrew (Leighanne), Phillip, Jacob, Nathan Saunders, Casey Schurtz (Andy), Anna, Cullen Haycocks, Connor Eller (Kayla), Spencer and Eller Buddington; his great grandchildren, Tripp, Tatum Saunders, Eller Saunders, Lainey Eller, Ike and Carolyn; and his siblings, June James and Edward B. Eller (Helen).
