It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anne Joanne Kinsel Wolford of Blacksburg, Virginia, born in Alliance, Ohio, who passed away on December 21, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Isabelle Kinsel (Ricks) and Donald Raymond Kinsel; her husband John Wolford; her daughters, Joanne Wolford and Lara Schiefelbein; her son-in-law William; her grandchildren, Evelyn and Noah Schiefelbein of Georgia; and her sister Margaret McDonough of Michigan.
She served academically at Michigan State University and Virginia Tech in county and state-wide extension programs, with the American Nursing Credentialing Center Research Institute, and was associated with the Kettering Foundation.
