She was predeceased by: her parents, Maury Richard, Sr. and Hazel Surface Long; her son Roger Dale Cook; and her siblings, Bobby Joe Long, Kenneth Long, Freddie Long, Maury Long, Jr. and Elizabeth "Tootsie" Long.
She is survived by: her children, Mark Cook and Anita; her children-in-law, Louie Wilson and Susan Cook; her grandsons, Joshua Cook, David Cook and Nicholas Wilson; her great grandchild Beaux Cook; her siblings, Faye Long and Sammy Long; and her close friend Alvin Dalton. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
