It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Emory Franklin Pennington of Bishop, Virginia, who passed away on January 14, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Edward Pennington and Rosella Ferguson Pennington; his siblings, Pauline Perry, Ada Mae Hankins, Lucy McGuire and Charlie Eugene Pennington; his close friend Barbara Terry; and also Rhonda Terry.
He is survived by: his brothers, Bobby Pennington (Ann) of Bishop, VA and Samuel Pennington (Shirley Jean).
The family has requested that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Alexander United Methodist Church: P.O. Box 39 - Bishop, VA 24604.
