She was predeceased by: her parents, Elton Thornes and Lottie Trader Bullard; and her stepson Bryan Keith Elliott. She is survived by: her daughters, Chelsea Thornes of Birdsnest and Heather Guagenti of Birdsnest; her stepchildren, John S. Elliott III (Tricia) of Exmore, VA, Christopher Elliott (Claudette) of Salisbury, MD, Elizabeth Charnock (Raymond) of Tangier, VA and Derrick Elliott of Eastville, VA; and her siblings, Keith Thornes (Chantel) of Onley, VA, Pam Childress of Exmore, Sandra Richardson (Troy) of Nassawadox, VA, Elton Quinn Thornes (Georgie) of Keller, VA, Betty Jones (Bo) of Melfa, VA and Herbert Thornes (Faye) of Hopeton, VA. She is also survived by one grandson; and six step grandchildren.
