With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Thomas Sawyer of Birdsnest, Virginia, who passed away on January 3, 2022 at the age of 84. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Thomas Sawyer to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his wife Antoinette M. "Toni" Sawyer; his parents, Walter Lee Sawyer and Lessie Bess Sawyer; and his brother Walter L. Sawyer, Jr.. He is survived by: his son Tony A. Sawyer of Norfolk, VA; his siblings, William Jimmy Sawyer of Moyock, NC and Barbara Philyaw of Chesapeake, VA; and his stepsons, Charles F. Olinger of Birdsboro, PA and Timmy Sieber of Baltimore, MD. He is also survived by four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic all people attending the service are asked to wear masks.
