He was predeceased by: his parents, Carmel Hoover Lane and Roberta Polly Hamilton Lane; and his brother Billy Lane. He is survived by: his wife Nina Deel Lane of Birchleaf; his children, Ashley Arney (Andrew) of Coeburn, Jessica Greear (Daniel) and Kyle Evan Hay Lane of Birchleaf; his stepchildren, Kevin Hay (Javita) of Coeburn, Richard Hay (Brittney) of Wise, Kimberly Hay of Birchleaf and Missy Williams (Chris) of McClure; and his siblings, Norma Grizzle (Gary), Larry Lane (Carolyn), Allen Lane (Vicky), Rebecca Cantrell (Ronnie), Patsy Cantrell (Toad), Elizabeth Rowe (Fred), Wanda Rogers (Nick), Vernon Lane (Trula), Johnny Lane (Melissa), Clement "Bo" Lane, Glenn Lane (Carla) and Ricky Lane (Kelly). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and other family members.
