He is survived by: his wife Cathy Hackney Boyd of Birchleaf, VA; his sons, Scotty Wayne Boyd of Birchleaf, VA and Matthew Brian Boyd (Cierra) of St. Albans, WV; his siblings, Cora Brush, Alice Deel of Prater, VA, Gail Dotson of Prater, VA, Carter Boyd, Keith Boyd and Fred Junior Boyd of Prater, VA.; his grandchildren, Nathan Boyd, Jacob Boyd, Alexis Sherman, Madison Collins, Matther Boyd, Kyle Boyd, Hunter Boyd and Willam Smith; and his great grandchildren, Lainey Collins and Lily Collins. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
