It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wilma Jean Williams Prior (Big Stone Gap, Virginia), born in Appalachia, Virginia, who passed away on March 15, 2022, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Thomas Williams and Juanita Elizabeth Williams (Boggess); her brother Chester Williams; and her grandparents, Carrie Edwards, George Boggess of Washington, John Thomas Williams and Jessee Williams.
She is survived by: her children, Margie Prior Welch (Frederick) and Curtis L. Prior I. (Sandra Duff) of Brandi, N. E; her stepdaughter Alicia Fields; her grandchildren, Akeem Prior, Fiance Marshe Bonaparte, Joycie Hagan, Jasiah Duff, Jeremiah Duff, Ava Prior, Christopher Porambo and Ashlei Porambo; her great grandchildren, Elaina, King, Raven, Alexandra, Laila and Londyn; her siblings, John D. Williams (Rose), Sandra Williams, Victor Williams (Sarah), Don Williams (Linda), Gary Williams James Williams (Becky) and Anita Toodle; the father of her children Curtis Prior; and her sister Jean Williams Hall. She is also survived by other nieces, nephews, close relatives and friends.
