He was predeceased by: his father Charles Edward Maddox; and his grandparents, Harvey, Essie Bufford, Jay and Flo Maddox.
He is survived by: his mother Jeanette Maddox (Bufford); his children, Jaylen Maddox, Tabatha Maddox, Denise Franklin (Chris) and Elizabeth Maddox Bowen (Shane); his siblings, Charles Steven "Stork" Maddox (Jackie) and Jennifer Fox (Michael); his nephews, Jarrett Fox, Blake Fox, Daniel Maddox (Holly) and Ron; his niece Christy Standifer; his grandchildren, Savannah Dorton, Haili Maddox, Bryson Crumbley, Kurstyn Crumbley, Krisalyn Franklin, Bentley Franklin, Jacob Sexton and Sage Bowen; and his great grandchildren, Greyson Maddox and Maliyah Maddox. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
