He was predeceased by: his parents, Roby Southerland, Sr. and Janie Ellen McFarland Cregar; his sister Janie Eleanor Cregar; and his brother-in-law Raymond Vest. He is survived by: his sisters, Rosabelle Vest and Carol (Herbert Vest); and his friend David Fifer.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made directly to the funeral home, A. Vest & Sons Funeral Home, 2508 Walkers Creek Valley Rd., Pearisburg, VA 24134, in Roby's honor to help offset funeral expenses.
