Rayola Osborne Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Rayola Osborne (Big Stone Gap, Virginia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 14, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Rayola farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Rayola is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her husband Sam Osborne; her son Samuel Osborne; her parents, Taylor Bentley and Etta Bentley; and her brother Hoyt Bentley.
She is survived by: her sister Betty Kilgore; and her caregivers, Dale Wood, Johnny Dishman, Cassandra Creech and Kim Church. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Powell Valley Memorial Gardens (5650 Powell Valley Rd, Big Stone Gap, VA 24219).
