It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nancy May Mercer (Big Stone Gap, Virginia), who passed away on December 10, 2022, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Frank Daniel Howard; her husband Harry Mercer; and her siblings, Helen, Martha, Eva, Edna, Hazeline, Emily, Carol Lee and Dan Howard.
She is survived by: her son Dr. Michael Joseph Mercer of Hot Springs, AR..
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be set up at Trinity United Methodist Church (203 East 1st St. S. Big Stone Gap, VA 24219).
