He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Herron and Addie Herron; his grandmother Mattie Hobbs; his brother Robbie; and his cousins, Curt, Donna and Connie Lynn Blaylock.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his children, Chad, Eddie, Greg, Joe Jr. and Misty; and also, Teresa and Lonnie. He is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
