He was predeceased by: his parents, Wesley Bowen and Irene Bowen; his son Fred Leonard Bowen, Jr. (Judy); and his siblings, Mike Bowen, Glenn Bowen, Carl Bowen, Ellen Collier, Ide Miller and Inez Brooks.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Bowen; his daughter Beulah Rouse (Joe); his siblings, Lynn Bowen, Larry Bowen, Hazel Haycraft, Freda Mullins and Diana Couch; his brother-in-law Charles Collier; and his grandchildren, Dominik Bowen, Kyli Bowen and Kaitlyn Rouse. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
