It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Daniel Jack Scott Jr. of Big Stone Gap, Virginia, who passed away on November 10, 2023, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, June Scott and Dan Scott. He is survived by: his wife Alice; his daughters, Emily Crabtree (Will) of Honaker and Kendrea Hensley (Andrew) of Gate City; his grandson Asa Crabtree; and his siblings, Jan Long (Chris) of Bristol, Angela Turley (Bill) of Jonesville and Rick Scott of Jonesville. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
