He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Thompson; his children, Amanda Hutchins (Wesley) of East Stone, Brandon Thompson, Fiance Chelsea Murphy of Charlotesville, VA. and Mathew Thompson; his grandson Alex Hutchins; and his siblings, Opal Collins, Rubie Taylor (Taylor), Kathryn Thompson, Sandra Thompson, Eugene (Linda Thompson) and Gary (Sheila Thompson). He is also survived by relatives and friends.
