We are sad to announce that on August 27, 2021, at the age of 59, Cheryl Lynn Clendenon of Big Stone Gap, Virginia passed away. She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Ethel, Ed Grubb, Ray and Mabel Clendenon; and her father Carl Edward Clendenon (Sam).
She is survived by: her mother Angela Grubb Clendenon of Roda; her brother Eddie Ray Clendenon of Derby; and her uncles, Bob Clendenon (Janice), Jim Clendenon, Edgar "Buddy" Grubb (Benice) and Don Grubb (Jerrie). She is also survived by numerous relatives and friends.
Due to an abundance of caution to protect friends and family due to COVID-19, an outdoor graveside service will be held on Monday, August 30, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Powell Valley Memorial Gardens.
