She was predeceased by : her parents, Thurston Fate Green and Anna Bell Bennett Green; her siblings, Lois Bevins, Allen Green, Robert Green and Joe Green; and her husband Franklin Stanley.

She is survived by : her children, Rebecca Collins, Roger Collins (Debora Collins), Regina Morgan (Tracy Morgan), Rhonda Jeck (David Jeck) and Randall Collins (Melissa Collins); and her grandchildren, Keisha Kincer, Brittany Asbury, Chelsea Janezeck, Joshua Collins, Katherine Noll, Alie Collins of David Jeck, JR, Caleb Jeck, Jordyn Collins and Cameron Collins. She is also survived by her family, friends.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 3rd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Sturgill Funeral Homes (1621 Norton Rd SW, Wise, VA 24293). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, July 3rd 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A procession will be held on Friday, July 5th 2024 at 9:15 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, July 5th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Powell Valley Memorial Gardens (5650 Powell Valley Rd, Big Stone Gap, VA 24219).

In lieu of flowers, Betty would like donations sent to St Jude's Children's Hospital for cancer research for children, 501 St Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
