It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ancil Leo Maynes of Big Stone Gap, Virginia, who passed away on October 11, 2022, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Will Maynes and Martha Jane Maynes (Osborne); and his siblings, C. G. Maynes, Germaine Maynes, Hazel Henderson, Willie Jean Frederick (Maynes), Imagene Maynes, James Ledford Maynes, Troy Willard Maynes and Annetta Maynes.

He is survived by: his siblings, Harold Ray Maynes of Corbin, Mildred Mahan of Siler and Shirley Boyd. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
