In loving memory of Alice Jane Stallard (Big Stone Gap, Virginia), who departed this world on February 13, 2025 at the age of 81. Alice Jane leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. In the vast expanse of eternity, Alice Jane shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Alice Jane farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl DePriest and Velva Shook DePriest; and her brothers, John, Jack, Sam and Joe DePriest.
She is survived by: her husband Jim Stallard; her children, Craig Stallard (Sandy) and Terri Stallard (Jay Nussbaum); and her grandson Harry Stallard.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Powell Valley Memorial Gardens (5650 Powell Valley Rd, Big Stone Gap, VA 24219).
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Bluegrass Care Navigators or the Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center.
