He was predeceased by: his parents, Quillen Stiltner and Bertie Stiltner (Hayes); his son James E. Stiltner; and his siblings, Nina Smith, James Lester, Bill Stiltner, Arville Stiltner, Leroy Stiltner, Ronnie Stiltner, Ricky Stiltner and Greg Stiltner.
He is survived by: his children, Julie Chaffins of Big Rock, VA, Joseph Stiltner (Elizabeth) of Paw Paw, VA and Jason Stiltner (Rhonda) of Greenbrier, VA; and his sisters, Roberta Grizzle (Willard) of Big Rock, VA, Linda Ramsey of Big Rock, VA and Judy Croninger of Ohio. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
