With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Johnie Belcher of Big Rock, Virginia, who passed away on February 15, 2025 at the age of 104. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Johnie may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Johnie touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnny Belcher and Mary Jane Belcher (Ramey); his wife Beatrice Belcher (Willis); and his children, Johnnie Belcher and Janice Hileman.
He is survived by: his children, Mary Matney (Jerry) of Conaway, VA, Cynthia Harrison of Conaway, VA, Gary Belcher (Linda) of North Carolina and James Belcher of Powell, TN..
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Grundy Funeral Home (22208 Riverside Dr, Grundy, VA 24614). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 7:00 PM and on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 at the Ramey Cemetery.
