As we bid Valerie farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Valerie is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Halsey and Virginia Halsey of Big Island, VA; and her brother Joe Halsey of Big Island. She is survived by: her daughter Kasey; her son-in-law Jason Wiederhold; her sister Brenda; her brother-in-law Larry Whorley; her brother Danny; her sister-in-law Lynn Halsey; her sister Vickey; and her brother-in-law Bo Draper. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, family members, and friends.
