She was predeceased by: her parents, Norman Maynard Carter and Ada Bell Bradley Carter; her husband Herby Walter "Bud" Fitzgerald, Jr.; her son Ricky Eugene McKinney; her siblings, Robert "Bobby" Carter, Norman Maynard (Carter Jr.) and Dorothy Ann Abel; and her granddaughter Morgan Ashley Fitzgerald.
She is survived by: her children, Jeffrey Todd Fitzgerald, Herby W. "Buddy" Fitzgerald, III, Kimberly M. Fitzgerald and Teresa Fitzgerald; her grandchildren, Candice (Chris), Amber, Brittany (Burke), Josh, Lauren (Christian), Todd and Dianne; her great grandchildren, Lauren, Alex, Sarah, Will, Wyatt, Delaney, Emery Ruth, Addison, Naomi, Shepard and Phoebe; and her friends, Shirley Chilton and Rosa Fitzgerald. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
