He was predeceased by: his parent Ralph Woods; and his child Robert Woods. He is survived by: his parent Mildred Wright Woods; his children, Virginia Anne Barlow, Roxanne Ratliff and Philip Woods, Jr; and his wife Carol. He is also survived by granddaughter and care taker Ashley Ratliff, four additional grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren; one sister; six brothers and numerous nieces, nephews and many friends.
