He is survived by: his wife Robin Spinner-Richie; his children, Edwanta Richie-Osbey (Jason Osbey), Jullian "Brian" Richie and Eric Richie; his grandchildren, Brianna Richie-Morris (Rashaad Morris), Justin Richie, Aamazziah Gilford, Issabella Gilford, Cyarra Johnson-Richie, Indya Osbey, Jayla Richie and Desean Richie; his great grandchild Julienne Breanne "JB" Gilford; his siblings, Dorathy Lightfoot, Barbara Richie, Donald Richie (Almetrius Richie) and Elder Roscoe Richie (Sydney Richie); his cousins, Jasper Minnis, Olive Minnis and Margaret Minnis; his nephew Jason Spinner (Jessica Spinner); and his siblings-in-law, Tony Spinner (Linda Spinner), Eddie Spinner (Robert Durant), Michelle Spinner and Billy Spinner (Madaline Spinner). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, families, and friends.
