John James Holthaus Obituary
We are sad to announce that on May 17, 2021, at the age of 77, John James Holthaus of Big Island, Virginia, born in Baltimore, Maryland passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John James Holthaus, Sr. and Mildred Steurnagle Holthaus; his wife Elizabeth "Betty" Williams Holthaus; and his siblings, Joe Holthaus and Marcella Halverson.
He is survived by: his children, Libby Lowery (Ronnie) and John James "Jim" Holthaus, III; his grandsons, Zachary Owens (Brie Taylor), Matthew Owens (Samantha Craig), Aaron Lowery and Ronnie Lowery III; his great grandchild Lucian Lowery; his siblings, Mildred Brummett (Butch) and Don Holthaus (Shelly); his siblings-in-law, Jim Williams (Taffy) and Roberta Wheeler; and his close friends, Brenda and Gary Oliver. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other family members.
