He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph "Joe" Howard Hensley and Barbara Noel "Bobbie" Hensley; his brothers, Warren Dale Hensley, Douglas Dwayne Hensley and Anthony Doyle Hensley; and his children, Blondie and Yellow.

He is survived by: his daughters, Caryn Nicole Hensley Smith (Jeffrey), Meagan Cunningham and Barbara Dawn Hensley; his girlfriend Angie L. Evans (Babycakes); his siblings, Joseph Darrell Hensley (Susan), Glenn David Hensley (Donna), Timothy Durwood Hensley (Carol) and Barbara Dawn Fisher (Steve); his aunt Erma Whorley; his grandchildren, Nevaeh, Aiden, Zoey Smith, Bonnie, Harley and Lily Underwood; and his children, Bubba, Yeagar, Little Bit, Sassy and Preshy.
