He was predeceased by: his parents, Harford Allen Burks, Sr. and Alma Powell Burks; and his siblings, Steve, Larry Burks and Cheryl Day.
He is survived by: his significant other Barbara Coleman Burks; his children, Monica Farmer (Tony), Janet Lee, Doug Underwood (Pat) and R. Underwood (Laurie); and his brother Melvin "Sonny" Knepp (Sue). He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren; and eighteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Cornerstone Baptist Church (106 Williams Store Rd, Monroe, VA 24574). A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
