She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald A. Yirka and Joan Yirka; and her sister Donna Waters. She is survived by: her husband Charles A. Carter; her children, Christina M. Compton (Jeffrey) of Bluemont, VA, Rachel N. Baker (Brandon) of Rockford, OH and Charles A. Carter II (Sarah) of Lafayette, IN; and her siblings, Lisa A. LaClair (Mark) of Pasadena, MD and Donald J. Yirka of Glen Burnie, MD. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Enders & Shirley Funeral Home (1050 W Main St, Berryville, VA 22611). A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
