It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phillip Iden Cunningham Sr. of Berryville, Virginia, who passed away on April 25, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard William and Grace Elton Cunningham; and his brother Phillip, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Goldie Garrett; his children, Stacy A. Cunningham of Charles Town, WV and Christopher S. Cunningham, Sr. (Evelyn) of Stephens City, VA; his grandchildren, Amanda Jenkins of Riverview, FL and Christopher S. Cunningham, Jr. (Jocelynn) of Stephens City, VA; his great grandchildren, Jace, Paisley, Braeleigh, Brilen and Dayman; and his brothers, Elwood and Arthur (Oppie).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Berryville Baptist Church, 114 Academy St., Berryville, VA 22611, where he attended.
