She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry O. VanMeter and Lula Feaster VanMeter; and her brother Eugene VanMeter. She is survived by: her spouse Osa Martin Goldizen; her children, Brenda Hoff (Cliff) of Boyce, VA, Jackie Largent (Scott) of Winchester, VA, Steve Goldizen (Barbara) of The Villages, FL, Rick Goldizen (Susan) of Stephens City, VA and Randy Goldizen; her grandson Rhett Goldizen; and her sisters, Vera Hope White, Gladys Goldizen, Kathryn Alt and Nellie Dove. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
