It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leonard Benton McDonald of Berryville, Virginia, born in Millwood, Virginia, who passed away on November 14, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert Cleveland McDonald and Lillie Mae Pierce McDonald; his wife Freda Janet Smallwood McDonald; and his grandson Andy McDonald. He is survived by: his children, Darrell "Dickie" McDonald (Sue) of Winchester, VA, Lynn McDonald (Tracey Taylor) of Winchester, VA and Melody J. Goodman of Damascus, VA; and his grandchildren, Teresa Wolfe, Lauren McDonald, Logan Crabtree (Keegan), Kayla Goodman and Chance Goodman. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
